I'm really bad at keeping up at completing book series, so I thought the Summer of Series challenge hosted by Danielle @ Love at First Page and Lili @ Lili's Reflections would be the perfect challenge for me to finally get my tbr stack down!
So here are some of the series I'm hoping to complete.
I know I probably won't get through all of these series, but being the mood reader I am, I like having my pick of books to choose from.
The Summer of Series challenge runs from June to August, so you have plenty of time to sign up if you're still interested here!
So do you have an ARC of the third book in The Elemental Trilogy by Sherry Thomas? It's not out 'til October, thus making it hard to read for a summer reading challenge.
ReplyDeleteOh, I should totally do this too! I am the worst at finishing series. Thing is, I'll probably sign up to this, never finish any of the series I pick, and then feel bad. Ha! I'll definitely think about it, though! You should finish the Revenants series - it's one of my faves and the final book is great! :)

DeleteI would love to join in, but honestly, this summer I'll just try to dig myself out of this never-ending pile of arcs. I'm so behind, it's not even remotely funny anymore. But I'm thrilled you'll be reading His Fair Assassin. I love those books so much.

ReplyDeleteI approve of these! I LOVED Across the Universe, The Lunar Chronicles, His Fair Assassin (though I haven't read the last one yet) and Legend! I really hope you finish all of these and end up loving them. :) I really wanted to participate in this but unfortunately summer is *ending* for me. :( Good luck!

I so need to read the His Fair Assassin series too Jasprit! I hope you enjoy the Lunar Chronicles if you get to those books, I absolutely love them and am counting the days until Winter:)
ReplyDeleteI'm terrible at finishing series too. If this were in the winter, it'd be perfect! I'm noticing that I'm reading less and less the warmer it gets outside!
ReplyDeleteI'm terrible at finishing series, especially YA series. (Though I can read UF series until the cows come home. Go figure). Loved the Fair Assassin series, even if the last one wasn't my fave.

ReplyDeleteMan, I honestly SHOULDN'T sign up for this, because I have so many other books that I've got lying around that I need to read, but yet, I love series, so I'm so tempted, haha.
ReplyDeleteI'm really interested to see what you think about a couple of these! I need to finish the last Across the Universe book, since it's been sitting on my shelf for EVER now. Also, I can't wait to see what you think about the Lunar Chronicles! I'm anxiously awaiting for the final book to come out. :D

I might have to think about joining in. There are quite a few series I want to read/finish. I only have Fairest to read in the Lunar Chronicles and that's super short, but still! I also really want to read the Jessica Darling books. I read the first years ago so I need to re-read and then read the rest.

ReplyDeleteSummer is definitely over in my country but this is a great reading challenge. I also have a problem keeping up with book series. Take Vampire Academy, for one. I only read the first book and liked it but I never picked up the rest :( But I'm glad I was able to read at least one full series (all seven books) during my summer this year.
