Rock My TBR

Happy New Year everyone! What better way to kick off the new year with the Rock MY TBR challenge hosted by Sarah The YA Book Traveller. I'm the biggest hoarder when it comes to buying books and then letting them sit on my shelf all year long, so I thought this challenge would be perfect to get my out of control pile down.

The challenge is to read a minimum of 1 book per month that you already own. So I'm going to make it my goal to read at least 12 books. Being the mood reader I am, I knew that I couldn't go with a set list, but a potential list of books that I could choose from:

Are you taking part in the Rock My TBR challenge? If so which books are you planning on reading? I'm totally up for buddy reading!

  1. I am doing this challenge! I've never done a buddy read, so doing one would be loads of fun. I think the only one you listed that I already own is Sloppy Firsts. I read it years ago, but I DO want to read it again so I can finally read the rest.

  7. Psych Major Syndrome, A Little Wanting Song and Second Chance Summer are all on my tbr-list for a long time. Maybe it’s time to finally pick them up. I plan to read Night Owls soon. I loved Exquisite Captive (Dark Caravan Cycle #1) and the audiobook The Distance Between Us is brilliant. Good luck with you challenge, Jasprit!

  8. Jasprit, I absolutely LOVE Sloppy Firsts, Dark Triumph, and Exquisite Captive so I am so glad to see that you'll be reading them this year! I also really enjoyed Night Owls and A Little Wanting Song and really need to read The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things, Second Chance Summer, and All I Ever Wanted so hopefully I can get to those this year too. Let me know if you want to read them together and discuss, actually--it's been so long since we did one of those and I miss them! Good luck reading all of these in 2016, Jasprit--I'm excited to see what you think! :)

  13. This is a worthy challenge indeed, Jasprit! I currently have a really tall pile on my nightstand, which is growing taller every Saturday when I usually drop by my favorite bookshop. I will definitely work on that this year! :)

  16. My gosh! You have loads of awesome books on here! (Like Psych Major Syndrome, The Distance Between us and All I ever wanted!). I should do this challenge, too. I pick up second hand books a lot, but never seem to get around to reading them. I usually end up reading library books or books on my kindle.
