Hello readers! I’m here with another box of books to
giveaway. Must make room for the new
pretties on my shelf! Most of these
books I’ve read before, I just don’t see myself doing a re-read. A few I haven’t read and I just don’t think I’ll
ever get to them. Why should they waste
away on my shelf when someone else might enjoy them?! Three of these are signed
by the author, to me (Rachel), sorry! Finally I had to share this photo because I
love stately and lavish libraries! I
always think, dreamily “what if this was mine?” *sigh*
I wish!!

DeleteI have a few AC books, but they're all in Estonian so I don't think anyone would love to read them :D LOL. I'd never give them away either--they're what got me to reading in the first place (+ HP and Twilight books). Also, Vampire Academy is a series I'd not give away or trade for anything. LOVE LOVE LOVE them. And I agree, you're awesome with these giveaways:) Makes me wish I'd live in the states:) Heh.
DeleteThe Lord of the Rings. I still have the same paperback set that my parents gifted me when I was 12 years old at Christmas and they are falling apart. I do not care. I will keep those forever even if they disintegrate!

Gah! I so need to do the same thing!! Maybe if I had shelves lining every wall in my house, I'd be good but...I just don't (not everyone loves books like me and bookshelves everywhere can reduce the resale value -- what's wrong with people?). I couldn't give away...well, pretty much any of my UF books or my Nancy Drews.

ReplyDeletePick one book? Are you kidding?! I throw one out there - Harry Potter series. Why this you ask and not a romance? I loved HP, not only the stories but the movies. What makes this so special is that my girls grew up with them. Memories of reading them together, going to the movies, having movie marathons at home when it came out on DVD, going to the book release parties and then fighting over who gets to read first, etc. When a book is part of your life like that how can you give it away?
The Giver by Lois Lowry! Thanks for this amazing giveaway - I would love to win!
