Showcase Sunday #33

Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea. The aim is to showcase our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders this week.

Hello everyone, I hope you've all had a wonderful week, this week I've had a quiet week in terms of incoming books, which is great, as I have so much to catch up on already, but once again I received a great bunch of books.

Thank you to Random House UK, Macmillan Children's and Amazon Children's

The F-It List by Julie Halpern | Hurt by Tabitha Suzuma | Fractured by Sarah Fine | Canary by Rachele Alpine

I was so excited to find out that I had been accepted for a review copy of Fractured, I read and devoured Sanctum a few days ago, so I'm glad that I don't have to wait too long before I can get my hands on more Malachi! There's also been so many books around about bucket lists, I admit finding myself really drawn to these sort of reads, the F-It List sounds like a beautiful read, so I hope it lives up to my expectations.

Over to Rachel and her haul:

Thank you to Skyscape, Disney Hyperion and Netgalley.

I’m currently listening to Iron Kissed and loving it. I’m hooked on this series thanks to Keertana @ Ivy Book Bindings and Maja @ Nocturnal Library and their wonderful recommendations!

I haven’t requested much and I haven’t bought much because honestly I’m inundated by what I already have. I have a mountain of review copies that I need to get through.

I just want to let everyone know that I’m sorry I’ve been slow about commenting back and visiting blogs this week. I’ve had a hectic week with a family member in an accident with several broken bones, and I’ve been crazy at work on top of things. I’m so glad it’s finally the weekend!

Feel free to leave a link in the comments below with your book hauls, and we'll be over soon to check them out!

  7. Jasprit, I can't wait to read Fractured myself and I'm so curious about Hurt since I loved Forbidden, so I hope it winds up being just as good.

Rachel, All Our Yesterdays is amazing and, again, I can't wait to read Fractured. Iron Kissed is one of the best books in the MT Series and I loved it. It's a turning point, or was for me, and I thought all the books after it were fantastic (except the sixth).

    Great haul, ladies!

  8. Jasprit: Canary, Hurt, and The F-It List all sound incredible and I hope that they all live up to your expectations!

Rachel: I definitely get what you mean about review copies! I've stopped requesting, just because I have so many other ones that I need to read, but then I always give in and request a few. But ANYWAYS. I really hope you enjoy all of your books!!

  10. I'm so tempted to download Fractured, Jasprit, but I'm not sure I'll have the time to read and review it on time because I had back to school in 2 weeks. I'm glad that you enjoyed Sanctum and are looking forward to the second book. Hopefully, you end up enjoying it too.

Rachel, I hope you enjoy Fractured and All Our Yesterdays as well! :)
And I hope your relative feels better now.

    Happy reading ladies!

  11. Rachel, I hope your relative feels better soon. *hugs* I really hope you enjoy All Our Yesterdays since everyone loves it and I've yet to read a bad review. Jasprit, I know Nick was really excited about Canary and from what I read from her blog, I know it sounds very different from the rest of the YA books so I hope you enjoy it a bunch:)

  16. Oh no Rachel! I hope your family member is okay (aside from the broken bones obviously, those are not okay). *thinking of you and your family*

You guys both had great book weeks again this week, I can't wait to finally get to the Sarah Fine series. I have both books and I'm excited to read them since Sanctum got such a positive response from everyone! Plus, the covers are gorgeous:)
