About the book:

Stella Ford’s grasp on reality is already loose, and it’s about to come undone.

When the college junior flees Chicago and leaves her toxic family behind, she heads for coastal Maine to find the one person who brought her peace years ago: Sam Bishop. But the Sam she once knew now has painful secrets.

Stella is determined to heal them both. Healing, however, is a challenge when the walls of her everyday existence collapse. And when Sam’s best friend is his worst enemy.

When the line between life and death blurs.

When an end is just a beginning.

When lust and rage rule.

Yet during extraordinary chaos, there can be extraordinary love, even if that love comes with a twist.

Welcome to death tripping.

A thriller, a paranormal, and a passionate romance, CLEAR crosses genres and breaks boundaries.

About the Author:

Jessica is the author of LEFT DROWNING, the New York Times bestselling FLAT-OUT LOVE (and the companion piece FLAT-OUT MATT), and RELATIVELY FAMOUS. She lives in New Hampshire where she spends an obscene amount time thinking about rocker boys and their guitars, complex caffeinated beverages, and tropical vacations. On the rare occasions that she is able to focus on other things, she writes.

  1. I get why you're so excited to read one of her books - I mean the quotes literally sizzled when I read them;) I haven't read any of Jessica Park's books before but since you love her writing and since this books seems to be one of passionate love, healing (second-chances), hope and paranormal events (romance and paranormal!-which is a great combo) I think this will be the book to get me reading NA:)

  2. Ooh! Swoony quotes. That blurb is a little confusing though. I'm not sure what's going on. Guess I'll have to pick it up and see for myself, huh?
    Thanks for sharing, Rachel! :)

  3. Wow, I hadn't even heard of this! I LOVE Flat-Out-Matt, but Left Drowning really didn't work for me... and I saw, Rachel, that you gave this two starts on Goodreads? Will have to think about this one!

    1. Yes, it wasn't a book for me. I'm like the only person who didn't care for Mara Dyer, a faulty narrator is not my cup of tea, and the book starts out like that. There's also another aspect that didn't work, for me and never does, (I'd spoil things if I said it here) so I think it's a case of "it's me, not you" because I've loved Jessica Park's writing otherwise. :)

  5. Hmmm... I didn't know she had another coming out. I adored her Flat Out Love book, but I was not a fan of Left Drowning. I think I am going to hold off after reading Rachel's comment above.

I adored Flat-Out Love (and Flat-Out Matt!!!) so I am definitely interested to learn more about this book. I never read Left Drowning because of how many people I knew who were not as taken by the book but if the over all response from yall is positive, I shall dive in!

    Thanks for sharing, Rachel!! :)
