Hello everyone, my sister is back with another interpretation of a YA book cover, this time she has decided to go for a book that I've never read before. So without further ado!
I think this book is about a girl who has a long distance relationship with her boyfriend and the way they show their love for each other is through postcards.
After my sister wrote her perspective, I went to check what this book was actually about, and it does actually involve the MC sending a postcard to her sort of boyfriend. I actually think that I would probably would end up reading this book with my sister's perspective, I hardly see anyone send postcards anymore, so it would be interesting to see if their relationship would work out seeing how they live so far apart!
I just adore these posts, Jasprit! They're always so lovely and fun. And as someone who's in a long distance relationship and who regularly expresses affection through postcards, I'm fairly certain I need to read this one. :)

I never liked to draw people, simply I couldn't do it properly. Your sister is better at that than I'm. I like her idea :) Great post Jasprit :)

These are so cute -- love that your sister does this with you! And it looks like this book cover is one of those that actually tells a bit about the story, rather than just being pretty (I know, I know. We love the pretty!).
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, postcards are awesome! I used to send them with my friends who lived in the next city, but we went to kidergarten together. On weekends, we'd open our letters and write back. LOL. The last postcard I got was about 3 years ago (unless it's my aunt or my late grandmother who live(d) about 100 km away from us), when one of my best friends sent me a Valentine's card from Italy when she went skiing there. (Here, we celebrate Valentine's day as a celebration of friendship, but of course, it's about love as well if you're together with someone. For me, it's more about friendships though and I always bake something for my friends:) Ok, enough about Valentine's day lol:)) and the card arrived about 1,5 months later :D Anyhow, your sister's perspective was quite spot on! However, I love everything your sister comes up with. Best meme ever!! :)
