Top Ten Tuesday #12: Top Ten Books on My Fall 2013 TBR List

Is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where each week they post a new top ten list and ask fellow bloggers to share their lists on that topic.

Today's top ten topic is: Top Ten Books on My Fall 2013 TBR List.

Bucket list books seem to be bit of a trend lately, and I have to admit I'm really looking forward to diving into these books especially the two books above.

These three books have been in my TBR forever! And the reviews I've seen from my blogging friends has been nothing but great, so I can't wait to finally see why everyone has loved these books so much.

The Promise of Amazing and These Broken Stars have been two books that I've had my eye on for sometime, they both have such pretty covers and great premises, I have my fingers crossed that both books will be living up to my expectations.

More Raffe and Four do I even need to say anymore?

Cracked up to Be by Courtney Summers Some Girls Areby Courtney Summers Fall For Anything Courtney Summers

I know I kind of cheated here by listing three books, but Courtney Summers is an author whose books I've been promising to get around to forever, and with the Courtney Summers read-along I now have the perfect chance to do so.

Did any of these books make it to your Fall 2013 TBR list too? Feel free to leave a link to your Top Ten Tuesday posts and I will stop by later to check them out!

  26. Tiger Lily is AMAZING. Seriously. I cried at the end and I don't cry during books very often. I also really enjoyed Cracked Up to Be by Courtney Summers. I'm hoping to get to more of her books as well.

  27. If I could snag copies of The Madman's Daughter and Tiger Lily and These Broken Stars and World After and..okay, most of what's on your list, they'd be on my list too. But I'm sticking with books I already have or have pre-ordered. :)

  28. I loved The Madman's Daughter - can't wait for the sequel to come out in January. I've only read one book by Courtney Summers, and it was This Is Not A Test. I own Some Girls Are, and I know that I'll love it because her writing was really poignant. Nice list :)

  29. I have had Tiger Lily on my list for such a long time too! I keep getting distracted by all of the amazing books out there!

  30. JASPRIT. I feel like the last three times you've commented on my blog, you mentioned the Raven Boys and I thought (!) that you'd said you were planning on reading the book this weekend :P. PFFFT. Hehe. Please read? Pleaaase? I hope you'll love it as much as I did/do. And I'd love to see what you think of The Madman's Daughter - I'd actually gotten that one on an ARC tour but didn't have the time to read it but I had to pass it on.

Ooh, the only thing about Promise of Amazing that's making me hesitate is the low rating on GR. I have both it and These Broken Stars coming up - like you said, pretty covers and great premises - but !!! It always makes me nervous to see that happening. The same thing happened with Tumble and Fall o.O.

FOUR AND RAFFE!!! Yesss. That Raffe excerpt has me REALLY wanting World After and Four? Did you read the Transfer story? I was on the Amazon page just the other day and it seems like it's been getting a bunch of great reviews o.O. I was very nearly tempted to buy the book.

Courtney Summers!! It's nice that you're using the read-along to fuel your fall reading list for her. I'm doing the same with the Book Thief and the Midnight Garden ladies.

I hope these books live up to your expectations :).

  31. Raffe and Four kind of remind me of each other a little. I'm also really looking forward to reading World After and Allegiant! And The Raven Boys! You know how much I love that book. I really hope it works for you, hon! :)

  32. I really like how you organized your list, Jasprit!
Of all the books you've listed I've only read two: Tigerlily (where I'm the sole person disappointed in it) and Cracked Up to Be (which I enjoyed). I need to read more of Summers' books myself. I'll have to look into that readalong you mention! Of course I'm also excited for the series continuations coming out. Allegiant and World After! Great list!

  33. *pants* The World After. Whelp.

  36. The Promise of Amazing is a book I've been wanting to read for a very long time, it looks so adorable. And of course, Susan Ee's second book is VERY high on my tbr. I can't wait to get my hands on it.
