The Readers Den Six Year Blogoversary

Jasprit
A big thank you to everyone who has supported our blog over the last six years, The Readers Den seriously wouldn't have made it this far without your support, thank you for leaving us wonderful comments and giving us great book recommendations. Thank you to Rachel for being the best co-blogger ever, for being there and taking over when I needed a break and for making this one truly epic journey. Thank you to those who have supported us from the we started this little blog: Rashika, Nick, Keertana, Heidi, Siiri and Bonnie and to the amazing bloggers we've discovered along the way: Allie, Grace, Sara, Greg, Nereyda and Brandie!

Rachel
I can't believe it's been six years!  As Jasprit has said above, thank you to everyone who has visited and supported our blog!  We all share a special love/obsession of reading that no one can better understand than our fellow book lovers!  I was so lucky to first "meet" Jasprit on Goodreads back in 2011, when I first joined, sharing thoughts, opinions and rants on books we read! I'm so thankful to have such a lovely co-blogger! We have a shared, easygoing view on blogging and I'm thankful she takes the reigns when I'm too lazy to write a post!  Yes, thank you to Nick, Heidi, Keertana, Brandie, Arlene, Crystal, Bonnie, Carina, and Joy; wonderful fellow book bloggers who've supported us and commented on our blog from the beginning! I've enjoyed adding new favorites to the list like Greg, Grace, Bloeuedd, Karen, Kindlemom, Lily, and Sophia Rose!

To say thank you we are giving two lucky winners the chance to win a 2018 pre-order from the list below. This giveaway is international, as long as The Book Depository ships to your country. Good luck everyone!

The Readers Den Five Year Blogoversary

Jasprit:
Hi everyone, wow I would never have thought that I would be writing a post five years on from when I first started The Readers Den. So much has happened these last five years, but I'm hugely grateful that because of your support and following we have managed to make it this far. A big thank you to my co-blogger Rachel, who seriously is the best blogger and friend a girl could ever ask for. Thank you to Allie, Rashika and Siiri who have become my best friends, I share everything with these ladies, so I'm hugely grateful to have these ladies in my life. And to all the bloggers who have been there for us from the very beginning: Nick, Joy, Keertana and Heidi and to those we've built great friendships with along the way: Lauren, Ari, Eva, Emma, Nereyda and anyone else that we've forgotten thank you so much, we honestly wouldn't have been here without you!

Rachel:
Can I just say ditto to everything Jasprit has said above?!  Seriously, though, I didn't want to blog and then I couldn't resist when Jasprit made me an offer to co-blog soon after she started The Readers Den.  I'm sooo thankful I took Jasprit up on her offer and I believe we're a great match. Jasprit is the easiest, nicest person to work with and we share the same motto on blogging. We've changed a bit and become a bit more relaxed to our approach, and I'm happy to say I have joy from sharing our love of books! Thank you so much to all the followers, commenters; people who've stuck with us since the beginning.  It would be a lonely void without all of you! I'm so thrilled to exchange ideas, and thoughts on so many books with like minded people!

To say thank you, we are giving two lucky winners the chance to win a 2017 release from the list below. This giveaway is international, as long as The Book Depository ships to your country. Good luck everyone!

The Readers Den Four Year Blogoversary.

Hi everyone, if someone had asked me whether four years later that Rachel and I would be celebrating our Four Year Blogoversary, I would have probably laughed. I know Rachel and I haven't been blogging and commenting as much as we used to, but we appreciate all of you who take the time out and leave comments here. We definitely wouldn't have made it this far without your love and support.

Thank you to my co-blogger Rachel, I can't believe how far this blog has come, I really couldn't ask for a better co-blogger, I'm hugely grateful that the read-along's and book pushing on Goodreads all those years ago led to such a wonderful friendship!

A big thank you to Allie, Rashika and Siiri, I love how we've become the best of friends, honestly I feel like we've been friends for years, I love our daily chats, and regular skype sessions, I can't wait to see all your faces one day. Allie we've had so much fun all the times that we've met up, I appreciate how we can just goof off together and end up in food coma's, I'm glad our mission of Hot dudes reading was pretty successful the last time we got together, here's to many more eventful and wonderful meet ups to come! Rashika you're always great at bringing a smile to my face and making things look better when I've had a crappy day, I can't wait for when we have our plans for this Summer sorted. Love you Alaska ladies <3

Thank you to Nick, Keertana and Joy who've supported this blog since day one, we appreciate the time you take out of your busy schedules to leave lovely comments and of course contributing brilliant recommendations to our tbr piles. Thank you to Lauren, Danielle, Jenny, Heidi, Donna, Jess, Wendy and Emma for all of your support too! Sorry if I've forgotten to mention anyone!

Rachel:
It's been a lovely four years blogging and there's no way I would've been able to run a blog without having Jasprit! I think our different tastes in books makes for a varying and interesting selection covered here on the blog.  We get along behind the scenes as well, sharing the same opinions and both of us have changed our blogging to a more relaxed approach making it a fun hobby instead of another job.

I've "met" a lot of wonderful people in the blogosphere that have contributed to my out of control TBR and have been a listening ear when I want to rant or rave about a story that's brought out strong emotions.  Arlene and Crystal are women I became acquainted with right after joining Goodreads and we've even met up on book conventions and signings and where I've had a blast sharing our love of books.  Keertana, Joy, Jenny, Heidi, Brandie, and a new friend, Eva, are my go-to girls for books!  Thank you for all the recommends, brilliant posts, and comments! I'm sorry if I've left anyone out!

So to celebrate our four year blogoversary, we are giving two lucky readers the chance to win one of the 2016 pre-orders below. The Giveaway is open internationally, as long as The Book Depository ships to you, (a list of countries can be found here). Good luck everyone!

The Readers Den Three Year Blogoversary!

Hi all, I can't believe that today Rachel and I are celebrating the third year blogoversary at The Readers Den, I honestly didn't think we would have made it this far, although at times things have been a struggle with managing everything, I'm grateful to have had so many of you by our side from the beginning and to some great friendships that I've been able to make along the way. So here's a couple of thank you's.

A big thank you to my co-blogger Rachel, she has been the most understanding person ever, when I've made last minute post changes or not been around as much to comment, she's been there to pick everything up for me. I don't think I would have been able to manage the blog without you *hugs*.

Thank you to my girls Rashika and Siiri, I love how multi-platform we've become from blog commenting, what's app and now even Skype! Do you remember how nervous we were on our first chat? And now we just can't shut up! I'm glad to have met you both over the last year or so, you both definitely make my days with you constant book pushing and Scandal chats. Here's hoping that we'll finally be able to meet each other one day.

Thank you to Nick, who has been there from the very beginning, for leaving lovely comments almost everyday and buddy reading with me so many wonderful book, (I swear one day I will be able to catch up with you ninja pace reading). Thank you to Danielle, Lauren, Joy and Jenny, I love reading your enthusiastic and honest reviews, you ladies could never lead me wrong with your book recommendations! Thank you to Donna and Jess, I'm thrilled that I've had the chance to meet you both in real life, you ladies are great in keeping me on top of all the bookish events near us, here's hoping we have many more wonderful events to attend together (we shall have to visit Foyles when it opens together in Birmingham).

Allie, who I will meet one day, remember you still need to come down so that we can experience AmeriCandy in all it's goodness! And all the other amazing bloggers who take the time out of their busy schedules to leave lovely comments on our blog: Melanie, Wendy, Faye, Aimee, Emma, Mel, Heidi, Keetana, Maja, Mary, Carina, Giselle, Nomes, Tanja, Glass, Summer, Christina, Leanna, Juhina and Ari we really do appreciate it! (Sorry if I've forgotten anyone, we love you all!)

Can I (Rachel) just say ditto to everything Jasprit said above? I would never be able to blog on my own and I couldn't ask for a nicer, smarter (Jasprit is truly the brains behind this blog) more accommodating blogmate! She picks up the slack with commenting if I'm not around or work is slowly sucking the life out of me.

I have to shout out to all the bloggers Jasprit has mentioned above, as well. And a special thanks to Joy, Keetana, Nick, Heidi, Jenny, Danielle, and Lauren: you ladies always leave such meaningful comments, and have posts that add to and make my TBR insane,  I also want to thank the Arlene and Crystal at Winterhavenbooks.  They are my real life bookfriends in crime, meeting me at one event or another, dishing on our favorite reads, and indulging in our latest book gossip!  I thank all of you for sharing our passion for reading and stories that make an emotional dent.

So to celebrate our three year blogoversary, we are giving two lucky readers the chance to win one of the 2015 pre-orders below. The Giveaway is open internationally, as long as The Book Depository ships to you, (a list of countries can be found here). Good luck everyone!
