Cover reveals

In the last week there have been some amazing cover reveals. Gorgeous covers are always my biggest downfall, but when pretty covers are followed up with awesome plot summaries, I tend to get giddy with excitement. I have to admit that I hadn't even heard of these books until yesterday, but already they've made it to my wishlist for 2013.

  17 & Gone
  Nova Ren Suma

Expected publication:  March 2013

Seventeen-year-old Lauren is having visions of girls who have gone missing. And all these girls have just one thing in common—they are 17 and gone without a trace. As Lauren struggles to shake these waking nightmares, impossible questions demand urgent answers: Why are the girls speaking to Lauren? How can she help them? And . . . is she next? As Lauren searches for clues, everything begins to unravel, and when a brush with death lands her in the hospital, a shocking truth emerges, changing everything.

  Taken
  Erin Bowman

  Expected publication: April 2013

There are no men in Claysoot. There are boys—but every one of them vanishes at midnight on his eighteenth birthday. The ground shakes, the wind howls, a blinding light descends...and he’s gone.
They call it the Heist.
Gray Weathersby’s eighteenth birthday is mere months away, and he’s prepared to meet his fate–until he finds a strange note from his mother and starts to question everything he’s been raised to accept: the Council leaders and their obvious secrets. The Heist itself. And what lies beyond the Wall that surrounds Claysoot–a structure that no one can cross and survive.
Climbing the Wall is suicide, but what comes after the Heist could be worse. Should he sit back and wait to be taken–or risk everything on the hope of the other side?
Aren't the covers to die for? I have no idea how I'm going to wait until 2013 for these awesome reads! What are your thoughts on these amazing covers?

I haven't seen the cover of 17 & Gone and it looks awesome! Although I haven't read Nova's Imaginary Girls, I still can't wait to read it! Taken's cover is SERIOUSLY AMAZING!

Can't wait for the release date of each book and thank you for sharing these covers with us, Jasprit! ♥

Wow! Another books added on my tbr! Their premise were a bit similar - girls and boys are missing! Yay, I love that kind of mystery. Gorgeous cover and amazing premise should always go straight to my tbr. Hopefully the story will be as great as the cover and plot! Thanks for sharing the cover, Jasprit! :D

I liked Imaginary Girls so much, I can't wait to read Nova Ren Suma's new book. Especially when the cover looks like heaven.
Taken also has an amazing cover and I know I won't be able to resist. I'm weak like that.

I'm starting to think that ugly covers don't exist anymore :')

Wow, both of these covers have a mirage-like gorgeousness that would definitely catch my eye in stores! You just added 17 & Gone to my TBR pile, and I've been so curious about Taken for the longest time. That'd be so weird if all boys over 18 just disappeared -- I couldn't imagine all of my guy friends being taken in three years! Thanks so much for sharing these, J! :) <3

Love both of these! 17 & Gone sounds so creepy and right up my alley! Taken's cover is gorgeous too but the plot sounds like every other dystopian out there with an extra twist so let's hope it stands out somehow.
