Bout of Books 11: Sign up and Goals

Bout of Books

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 18th and runs through Sunday, August 24th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 11 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team

Bout of Books is back for another read-a-thon which starts on Monday! I am super excited to be taking part in this read-a-thon once more, firstly because I always have so much fun taking part; getting to know other bloggers and readers through the chats, completing new challenges every day and pushing myself to read more than what I normally would (which hasn't been a lot if I'm honest with myself) so this read-a-thon couldn't have come at a better time. I've picked the following books that I will most likely be reading over the next week (this list could change depending on my mood), but I have heard that a number of these books will evoke all the feelings, which I'm quite happy about!.

Goals:

To read at least three books this week.
To take part in one Twitter chat
To complete three challenges
To comment on at least five new blogs each day
To have fun!!

I really want to get to know more enthusiastic readers like myself this time, its always great when you get chatting to someone who likes similar books to yourself or even will be planning to read the same books as you. I shall be updating my progress on this page every morning. But you're likely to find my most current updates on my Twitter profile here and see some neat photos of the books I'm reading on my Instagram profile here. If you're taking part in this Bout of Books leave me a link to your goals in the comments. And I'd love to know what you think I should start off with first!

Oh you have got such amazing books on your list! I really cannot wait to read Talon as I mean DRAGONS! I need dragons. But also Black Ice. I'm really curious about it. Not to mention that everyone is talking about Dangerous Girls. I really hope you'll enjoy these and I cannot wait to see your reviews. Good luck, Jasprit :)

Good luck, Jasprit! I've heard great things about Dangerous Girls.

Dangerous Girls is absolutely fantastic and definitely a quick read, too, so I don't doubt that you'll fly through it. I wasn't a fan of Kiss of Deception but I'm curious to see what you think of it and I'm also interested to see how Talon unfolds as I know a few early reviewers mentioned that there weren't as many dragons as anticipated so I'll be on the lookout for your thoughts on that one too. Good luck, Jasprit, and happy reading! :D
