where Sara gets her six year old son Shawn's perspective on a few Young Adult covers.
Hello everyone, today my sister is back with her perspective and interpretation of another YA book. My sister is a really fussy person, hence the lack of A kids Perspective posts! Despite having so many books on my bookshelf and everywhere around my room, my sister was adamant on only doing this post when she saw a cover which grabbed her eye. So without further ado my sister's choice for this week is:
I think Lucid is about a girl. Her parents have passed away and her friends have betrayed her. Suddenly her whole life is turning upside down.
I really like my sister's take on Lucid, she took the whole sleeping upside down thing to another level!

I love these posts, they are seriously adorable! I couldn't help but chuckle at her thoughts. Your sister is quite the artist! Great post, Jasprit. :)
It seems to me that all kids are better artist than I have ever been. Anyhow I haven't read this book and I have no idea what's about but I like your sister's idea! It sounds really good. Great post Jasprit :)
This is the first post I have seen but I love love love it! it's very cute and I love your sister's interpretation. I have a little sister but she isn't as creative as this.
Thanks for sharing, hon! <33
LOL--love it! A great interpretation. I definitely feel like curling up on the ceiling and crying when my life turns upside down!
OH I didn't think of the sleeping upside down thing having much significance until your sister brought it up! I feel like I totally ignore any significance covers may have these days since I've been burned too many times by the pretty ones. Great post, though, as always!(:
I think your sister got the gist of most of the YA contemporary down to pat. Lol. Pretty drawing!
Ha! She really did take the upside down thing to another level. How brilliant! :) I love that she is fussy about the covers. Sounds a little bit like me!..
I love what your sister made of the model sleeping upside down. I probably would never have thought of that. Kids are so perceptive to these things.
AWWWWWWW!!! Your sister is the best! I love this synopsis she put together:)
Your sister is too cute Jasprit! I want her to interpret and draw every one of the books on my shelf just to see what she says about them:)
Aww, I feel bad for the character in your sister's version. lol She did a great job!
Oh, your sister had a lovely interpretation - I like how she really looked at the cover. Great job!
I like your sister's take on Lucid. Thanks for sharing :)
I love the cover of lucid too. Your sister made a very pretty picture! Love the circles.
she did a really good job of copying that cover! I still need to read this one! Hope you have a good weekend!
Your sister sounds very particular, Jasprit! Love that. Wonderful perspective and take on the book! :)
Oh, I love your sister's take on the book! Specific and interesting :)
That's so cute! Your sister did a great job! :)
I'm not surprised that this cover grabbed your sisters attention! She has excellent taste ;) she's right about her life turning upside down that's for sure!
THIS IS SO CUTE. Your sister has great taste in book covers because I really love Lucid's cover. But, oh, her interpretation of the main character is pretty depressing! Regardless, your sister did a fantastic job at recreating the cover! :) Thanks for sharing, Jasprit.
