Waiting on Wednesday #15

Is a meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, which spotlights upcoming releases were eagerly anticipating.

The book I'm most excited about this week is...

The Book of Broken Hearts
Sarah Ockler
Publication date: 21st May 2013

Jude has learned a lot from her older sisters, but the most important thing is this: The Vargas brothers are notorious heartbreakers. She’s seen the tears and disasters that dating a Vargas boy can cause, and she swore an oath — with candles and a contract and everything — to never have anything to do with one.

Now Jude is the only sister still living at home, and she’s spending the summer helping her ailing father restore his vintage motorcycle. No one wants to end up with a toaster on wheels, so they hire a mechanic to help out. Is it Jude’s fault he happens to be cute? And surprisingly sweet? And a Vargas?

Jude tells herself it’s strictly bike business with Emilio. Her sisters will never find out, and Jude can spot those flirty little Vargas tricks a mile away — no way would she fall for them. But old warnings fade fast, because Emilio turns out to be the first guy in forever she likes. Really likes. Jude’s defenses are crumbling, and if history is destined to repeat itself, she’s speeding toward some serious heartbreak…

But what if her sisters were wrong?

Jude may have taken an oath, but she’s beginning to think that when it comes to love, some promises might be worth breaking.

I became a huge fan of Ockler’s work after devouring (literally) Ockler’s book Bittersweet earlier this year. I made a decision there and then to pick up all her upcoming releases. I love the sound of this book; with off limit Vargas brothers I can’t wait to meet and what will Jude eventually do? Follow her heart of listen to her sisters?

With Ockler’s reputation of being a talented author I can’t wait to get my hands on this book. I think it may be one of my most anticipated reads of next year! Also isn’t the cover gorgeous? I just want to hug it!

What do you guys think? do you like the sound of this book too?

Are you waiting on anything this Wednesday? If so leave us a link and we’ll stop by and check it out!

I absolutely adored Bittersweet too Jasprit, so Sarah Ockler is definitely an author who's new releases I'm watching out for. I love the sound of this one, I'm in the mood for a contemporary romance, I just wish this one wasn't releasing in May. That's entirely too long of a wait:( I'll be salivating by the time April rolls around!

I haven't read anything by Sarah Ockler, to be honest. I know, I know, I'm so behind on certain authors. Sounds like a cute novel though and I really do love the cover.

SQUEEEEEEEEE! The Book of Broken Hearts! I AM SO SO SO excited for this book! I love Sarah Ockler's books. Have you read Twenty Boy Summer, Jasprit? It's as beautiful as Bittersweet (though I might love Bittersweet just a tiny bit more than Twenty Boy Summer because there are CUPCAKES in the book!!) Which reminds me, I NEED CUPCAKES! X)

Awesome WoW pick, Jasprit ♥
