Rachel's Blogging Break & Giveaway

Hello readers.  I’m taking a little blogging break, but I'll be back here on January 1st.  I’ve been a little burned out lately with blogging so I’m taking time off to recharge my batteries. I plan on reading a lot and checking in on Goodreads from time to time with status updates.  In my absence I’m giving away a $25 Gift Card to either Amazon or Barnes & Noble or The Book Depository, winner’s choice, and I’ll have another Box of Books Giveaway coming up next week.  I hope everyone has a lovely time through the holidays! I’ll leave you with a picture of where I’d love to be spending my time (I’m imagining a big roaring fire in the fireplace) curled up with a good book.  I’ll have to make do with my own fireplace, I guess!

I know exactly what you mean, Rachel! I've been getting lazy lately and not reviewing the books I pick up or just writing mini-reviews, so I'll have to recharge soon enough as well. I hope you have a great break, dear!(:

Aww, Rachel, I totally understand why you need to take a blogging break, but we'll miss you! But sometimes it really is necessary just to take a few steps back and enjoy reading for once, without having to worry about writing reviews and upkeeping a blog. I hope you have some wonderful holidays, even if you won't be curled up in front of a fireplace like that one. ;)

I'm looking forward to faaar too many books this December!! I have my winter break then, so I have a ton of books lined up to read. I guess I'm really excited to read Allegiant, as I haven't done that yet.

Have fun on your break! <3

RACHEL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Everyone is leaving, it's making me so sad:( *starts sobbing* I will be stalking you come January first, just giving you a head's up on that. Okay, I won't really and I totally understand needing a break, I've been there before and no doubt will be again, so I hope you enjoy your time off, but you will be missed! *sobs some more*

I haven't thought which title yet, but I'm thinking of something light to read and not really a series. Perhaps an anthology would do it. ;)

Nothing wrong with a short hiatus - I did that back in October and it was so refreshing and made me ready to come back in November with full force. I hope the same thing happens to you, Rachel! Enjoy your holidays. :)

Forgot to answer the question: duh. I am looking forward to catching up on my Netgalley pending review list. I have some really cool books waiting for me. I hit a zombie and apocalyptic mad period, and yearning for some good romance. So I will be grabbing a few of those until I tire of that, and jump back on my dark reads. :) Hope you enjoy your break!
