Summer wrap up read-athon

The Summer wrap up read-athon is hosted by Jennifer @ Some Like it Paranormal and Jude @ In Between

I had so much fun with my last read-athon (Once-upon a read-athon) that I decided to sign up to another one. The purpose of the summer wrap-up read-athon is to catch up on any summer reads that you weren’t able to get through over the summer. There are so many that I still wanted to read, but as I was a little too optimistic with my last read-athon I’ve decided to set myself a target of just three books.

I can’t wait to jump into these books; I’m a contemporary girl at heart, so I just knew the books that I would tackle for this read-athon would have to be contemporary ones. The reviews have been great and they sound like the perfect summer books to pick up. Just in case I do fly through these I have several backups; two of the most awesome bloggers Maja from The Nocturnal Library and Sam from Realm of Fiction have convinced me that I'm missing out on so much by not picking up Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews and Finnikin of the Rock by Melina Marchetta.

Over to Rachel who is also taking part in this read-athon.

I'm so excited to participate in this read-a-thon. It's my first. I have such a huge pile of books that I've bought and then just forgotten so this is giving me a good nudge to finally get through a few. I plan on reading:

It'll be fun keeping up with Jasprit and all of our other blogger friends and seeing the progress on twitter.

We will be updating our progress on twitter here and here. Is anyone else taking part in this read-athon? If so leave us a link and we’d love to check out what you have planned.

EEEEEE Jasprit! I loved My Life Next Door ♥ I really want to read Such a Rush too since I love Jennifer Echols' books! As for Rachel's, I LOVED LEGEND! It was AMAZING and I also enjoyed The Savage Grace. It was a great end to the trilogy. I've been wanting to read A Little Wanting Song since I ADORED Graffiti Moon!

Can't wait to hear what you guys think about the books! ♥

Ah, I really need to get involved with one of these, they look like so much fun!

Contemporary books are the best, so long as they're done well! I love ALL your choices [particularly Such a Rush and My Life Next Door], Jasprit! Though I haven't heard of your backup choices before, I hope you enjoy!

The Saving Grace looks awesome, Rachel! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it [and the others!].(:

Good luck to you both.<3
